It is indeed a great honour for us at National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech, NTUT) to have been designated co-host of the 10th QS WorldClass seminar, which will take place on March 29-31, 2017. As president of Taipei Tech, I would like to extend my sincerest welcome to all of our distinguished guests.
Fostering small and medium-sized enterprises has become a crucial mission for economies around the world, especially in Taiwan. As for Taipei Tech, over the years, many of its alumni have had great success in establishing SMEs. As a matter of fact, over 10% of founders and CEOs of Taiwan’s stock companies are our alumni. QS WorldClass, as a platform for exchanging valuable knowledge, thus serves as the perfect venue for experience-sharing on SMEs. Each year, university leaders, educators, and administrators in higher education are invited to participate in this seminar. I believe that 10th QS WorldClass is an important milestone for international collaboration. Finally, we would like to invite you to attend this seminar and share your treasurable opinion regarding SMEs as well as the seminar theme, Industry, business and higher education management and governance, with delegates from Taiwan and all over the world.
