National Taipei University of Technology
Established in 1912, National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech, NTUT) is one of the oldest universities in Taiwan. With its long-standing history and experience in education, Taipei Tech is devoted to cultivating top technical professionals. Taipei Tech specialises in three fields: technology, design, and management. In a recent teaching excellence evaluation by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, Taipei Tech was ranked first among the technological universities on the island.
At present, Taipei Tech has approximately 12,000 students studying in its 6 colleges, 19 departments, 25 master’s programmes, and 17 PhD programmes.
The campus is located at the very heart of the Taipei Metro system. Not only can students enjoy a world-class education at Taipei Tech, but they also gain the opportunity to enjoy the rich traditional culture that Taipei offers. Attractions such as Taipei 101, the National Palace Museum, and the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall are in close proximity to Taipei Tech.
As an international university, Taipei Tech has established partnership with over 200 top institutions around the world. We now have more than 650 international students from 50 countries, and we hope to welcome more students in the near future; at the same time, we also encourage our local students to study abroad. We look forward to seeing you soon at the most productive and influential technology university in Taiwan.
