QS WorldClass is 10!
Higher education institutions around the world are under increasing pressure to reconsider their role in society and to evaluate their relationship with stakeholders – parents and students, academics, governments, NGOs and corporations. They are also expected to engage in interactions with industrial and regional partners. While government programmes and initiatives try to encourage universities to reach out more to external communities, universities need to take great care when partnering with various stakeholders as such dealings may have important implications for a university’s governance and accountability arrangements.
Themed “Industry, Business and Higher Education Management and Governance”, the 10th QS WorldClass seminar will gather university leaders as well as corporate executives to tackle the emerging issues of research-related governance, stakeholder management and university-industry interaction.
Having held excellent, top-level seminars for nine consecutive years, QS Asia will be organising its 10th QS WorldClass seminar in 2017 in Taipei, Taiwan, from 29–31 March 2017 in partnership with National Taipei University of Technology. The three-day event also includes camaraderie-boosting activities such as tennis friendlies etc. Join other university leaders now.
